With one day left in Chengdu, we took a detour to another city close by; about an hour bus ride.  This city is higher in altitude and more colder.   While I was on the bus and looking out the window, everyone wore clothes suitable for autumn.   As usual, I am the only guy wearing tshirt, shorts, and sandals.

Since this was a 1 day detour, I had to carry a good heavy backpack with me as we went out.  This really killed me while hiking.

I should make a post dedicated to spiders.  I have taken countless pictures of spiders in my adventures.

Very nice, to prevent this HUGE rock from rolling over, I am protected with sticks and logs.

What is nice about hiking in the cold without wearing much is that you don’t sweat.
