I mentioned that locals in Taiwan would easily recognize that I am not from around here. When I went to TaiChung, a girl thought I was Japanese. Just yesterday, another girl thought I was Japanese. Then my cousin’s girlfriend says that I do resemble a bit like Japanese or Korean. Hummm….
Anyways, this will be my last post before I leave for China tomorrow.
My aunt took me to their food market. Reminds me a lot like China Town.
You will see people riding on their scooter buying food. You will see this in some night markets. Lazy people…
My cousin, his girlfriend, a friend, and I planned to go to an amusement park.
The friend drove as he has a license, but basically he never touched a car and you can say it is his first day driving. Being the most experienced driver out of the group, I sat next to him. It was quite scary. The car was parallel parked with a car in the front leaving a large gap and another car right behind. First thing he did was put it in Reverse and floored it. Luckily I was able to stop him in time. Next, he puts it in Drive and for 3 seconds, all I heard were squeeks. Why? He forgot to release the handbrakes >_<
YES! Time for fun!
NOT! We didn’t go as it was expensive. They forgot to double check the ticket price the day before. In addition, the main ride was shut down, so there is no point of going.
It started to pour, and luckily we didn’t go to the amusement park. Instead we went to my cousin’s cottage up in the mountains. Damn, it is scary to drive up here. The roads are narrow with lots of twists and turns.
We sang karaoke, or more like him.
Rainbow.
While driving back from the cottage, there was a scooter accident. It happened before we drove across. The victim was already on the stretcher.
During the evening we went to watch Final Destination 4, or THE Final Destination in 3-D. My friend gets surprised very easily. He got surprised in one scene and his popcorn flew all over me -_-;;
Overall, the movie sucked. First of all, I had to hold my 3-D glasses as I can’t fit it over my glasses without it being loose. Ok, straight to the movie, only two 3-D pop-outs were cool. If you have seen the first 3 movies, then the deaths in this one is kinda boring.

1Wow, looks like you really had fun in Taiwan. I heard that Taiwanese adore Japanese… You might get unexpected treatment if you pretend you are from Japan. :-p
