  • Day 6: Odaiba

Today was the day of Comiket.  I was too lazy to wake up early in the morning to line up.  There was nothing that I want.

This is the only day that I didn’t have a schedule planned out.  So after I experienced Comiket, I was taking it easy in Akihabara.  Still lots of walking and my feet became really sore.

Rin and his friends went there early and I planned on meeting them at noon.  BUT, comiket was A LOT more hectic than I thought.   In addition, Odaiba is A LOT bigger than I imagine looking at the map.

    Inside of Yurikamome station at Shimbashi.  I lined up in the wrong line -_-;

First stop was the 1:1 scale Gundam.

I went at the worst time.  I went where there were the most people lining up to walk under the gundam.  After I was done, the line thinned out.

Then I decided to walk to Tokyo Big Sight for Comiket.  I mean, judging from the map, it doesn’t look that far.  I gave up after walking for 10mins.  It was too hot and there was still a LONG distance.

Looking at the Comiket line from the monorail train.  Again, I went at the wrong time.  If I went 30mins later, the line would have died down.

Apparently you can’t take pictures in the hall.

Overall, comiket was hectic.  I walked around the halls and it was friggen packed.  Only went for the experience.

I went to Akihabara and decided to go to a maid cafe.  Just for you Evy! I finally went.

OMG, there is a 700 yen sitting fee! WTF!?!?!

So when my food arrived I have to do some kind of “magical” spell over my food with the maid.  We had to hold our hands in a heart shape and say ” Moe, Moe, Dream!”.  While saying “Moe Moe” we had to do a circle movement with our heart shaped hands over the food.  When we said “Dream” we point our heart shape hand at the food.  Yeah….That was AWESOME.

I sucked at it as I was kinda shy.  Everyone else were so ENTHUASTIC.  Going there again at the last day and will do it with all my heart. MOE MOE DREAMMMMMMM

I didn’t stay as long as others.  Everyone had a DS, and I was just staring outside the window or peaking around at the girls.

Customers also get a card and after 3 times you upgrade to a new class.

AV is such a huge industry in Japan that companies release mini magazines or pamphalets  on future releases.

I went back to my hotel around 6.  My heels ( I meant feet) were killing me.

    Bought another bento from 7-11.

From my visit, you don’t see me eat much unique food.  That is because I am usually tired and don’t feel like looking around.

even though you’re so pale in real life, with that maid girl beside you, you look dead dark man… so tanned and refined =P

speaking of maids, did you actually talk/converse with the girl you hired? food any good? did you have any moe moe dreams that night in the hotel room? LOL

I ordered pancakes. Tastes all the same to me. I didn’t talk to the maids because of the language barrier.
