I am going to be so broke. I still need to return my OSAP loan -_-;;
I prefer selling stuff locally by using online classifieds, such as Craigslist, Kijiji, or RedFlagDeals. It saves a lot of trouble wrapping up items and paying shipping. But sometimes you got to resort selling outside of your city for more exposure. That is where eBay or other forums come in.
I hate paying eBay and Paypal fees. Such a pain in the ass. Luckily for eBay, for every 30 days you can post 5 free listings! Sweet! Time to start posting random crap I don’t need. Depending on the item, I usually have a starting price of $0.99. To come up with a shipping cost, I just pull out any random number from my ass. Usually I set a low shipping price to make my listings attractive. But, wouldn’t I lose money on the item if I set a low shipping cost and starting bid?
That is where my mom comes in. Instead of buying postage from the Postal Office, I use stamps. The answer: my mom gets stamps from work. If anyone bought something off me, then that answers your question to why the box was covered with stamps. Sometimes the costs of shipping is greater than the total amount of the item sold, LOL.
I don’t spend on packing materials since when I order stuff online, I just reuse the materials. Only thing I have to buy is tape. Whatever, I just go to the dollar store and buy a roll for $1 +tax.
Additionally if I have to ship smaller items, I get packing envelopes for free from my friend who takes them from work.
eBay is usually my last resort, or when I sell stuff that is hard to sell locally or elsewhere. Do you sell stuff online?
“Mom! I need more stamps!”
Actually, I lied in my previous post about not supporting any developers. I forgot that I just bought Ratchet and Clank 3 days ago. I was too immerse in the world of Rapture. Therefore, I supported PS3 developers by buying my first game from Wal-Mart. Surprising, eh?
That night I checked out RedFlagDeals for any good deals, and found Ratchet and Clank for $20. With 40 mins before Wal-Mart closes, I rushed out of my door and picked up the last copy closest to my location. Got the ugly red Greatest Hits case. But for a brand new game, it isn’t that bad. Better than getting a so-called “new” copy from EB where the case is damaged and dirty, in which I actually thought it was a pre-owned copy. Over time I will probably pick up a game that I would hate, so might as well change cases and trade that game into EB.
What I hate about buying games from EB Games is the stupid price sticker they stick on the cover of the game. I even hate how they always gut their games, even new copies. Meaning that they take the games out and store them into CD sleeves. Funny thing is that I haven’t supported any developers for the PS3 since I get all my games used or off eBay.
Nonetheless, I am a collector and I still want my games to look just as new. Over time from buying pre-owned games from EB, I have slowly found a better way to take off the sticker without damaging the case. Today’s demonstration will be on BioShock. I recently bought this game from a local classifieds ad for $20. Don’t let the sticker fool you. No way I paid $39.99 when the retail price of the game is now $29.99. I also just finished this game. I got to say that this is such an awesome game. I heard a rumour that it will be for $10 next week for EB daily door crasher sale. I will be so sad when I could have waited for a couple more days to get it for half the price I bought it for. Also, I need to upgrade my PS3 HDD soon.
For this demonstration, I used my nendoroids to guide you through. If they can do it, so can you! That sounded so cheesy. Credits to fellow comrade Kodomut for being creative with nendoroids. You should check them out.
Ugly EB stickers make Pastel Ink and Saber Lion cry! How dare they!!
I have been so unmotivated to do anything right now. I am just waiting for September.
Today I decided to start working on my last garage kit. I know ahead of time that I will definitely mess up the face. It is so small.
That was one LONG night. Haha! I got all my predictions right for the main card. Some outcomes were wrong, but nonetheless, pretty accurate.
Sexyama vs Belcher: I believe Belcher got robbed. One judge scored it 30-27 for Sexyama. Wow. In the end, sexyness prevails! Even getting kicked in the balls, Sexyama looked sexy.
Henderson vs Bisping: Sweet! Bisping got KTFO! I love it! I especailly love the flying elbow. That was like a 3 second air time. Next time Hendo should climb up the octogon and jump off with a flying elbow.
Fitch vs Thiago: Fitch is one tough dude, if we still don’t know. Getting caught in deep chokes, but still manages to escape.
GSP vs Alves: Alves got nothing on GSP. C’mon GSP vs Anderson Silva in Toronto!!!
Lesnar vs Mir: I am so sad. I hate Lesnar even more now from his poor sportsmanship in the end of the fight.
I have been extremely slow in blogging. Kinda unmotivated
Woot! I can’t wait to watch the PPV of UFC 100 tomorrow. Where’s the Sexyama love? Oh right, here it is:
This is going to be a LONG night with decisions. My predictions:
Sexyama vs Belcher: Sexyama by being sexy and too hot to handle.
Henderson vs Bisping: Hendo by UD
Fitch vs Thiago: Fitch by UD
GSP vs Alves: GSP by greasing, I mean UD
Lesnar vs Mir: Pretty tough to decide. I really want Mir to win, but I have to go with Lesnar first round TKO
More Sexyama love:
Here is After School cheering for, Dong Hyun Kim.
Transformers 2 is AMAZING. Lots of eye candy and BAYSPLOSIONS!
Here is a legend in mixed martial arts, Randy Couture. Overall, I kinda think he is a bit overrated from all the hype UFC placed on him.
