Here is Matt Hughes.  Not my favourite fighter though.  I am sad just making a post about him.

Did you know that Round 5 pays $25k for sculpting one fighter.  That is a hell lot of money.

"I love it, I love it!"

The only aspect about these figures that ruins it are the huge connecting gap for the arms and the neck.  It is passable if these are action figures, but you can’t really move the limbs or change the pose.  You can’t turn the neck for any fighters.   Then there is no point of having these huge gaps.

Obviously these figures have one huge unrealistic feature.  Some (or most) of these fighters are not even that muscular or toned.  For example, Anderson Silva.  Round 5 made him look ripped, which he isn’t.  I wonder how they would make Fedor, lol.  I just hope Gina Carano is not ripped >_<

I like the fight shorts as fighters are allowed to advertise their sponsors on them.

A Japanese manufacturer, Hao, also released miniature figures with big heads and hands.  But, Round 5 looks a LOT better.  This comes from the details of these figures which makes them unique.  The sculpt for the face is extremely detailed with the curves and bone structure.  In addition, the details for the chin is rough to emphasize facial hair.  The body is nicely represented with great details on muscles.   UFC is going to release their own line of action figures, and you do not want to see them.

Speaking of Matt Hughes, UFC 98 is coming soon on May 23rd.  I really wanted to watch McFedries vs Irvin, but unfortunately Irvin had an injury.  I hope Serra wins, but I think Hughes might win.  Nonetheless, WAR MACHIDAAAA!!!!!  Future LHW champion! I hope Evans gets destroyed.  Speaking of Matt Serra, Round 5 also signed him.

Yup, the detailed face is really neat!

Though what you mentioned is really true, the gaps are disturbing, add a bit of white face powder, dark eyeshadows and screws on the side of his head, and he will look like a true blue Frankenstein with those gaps!
