Maya Natsume is a very old figure from BOME’s PVC line. This may be like the first figure in most figure enthusiast’s collection along with her younger sister Aya.

This is the only PVC figure of Maya. How sad, because this does not even look like her.

Thank god Kaiyodo products are American distributed, so it is A LOT cheaper than buying from Japan. I won’t buy this if I had to pay the Japanese value.

The pegs are horribly designed! I can’t even make her stand on the pegs. I have no idea how you can make the pegs go wrong. The base for the right foot has 2 pegs, but only 1 hole in the figure to insert the peg. Had to cut one peg off and then the whole figure is crooked now. Either that my figure is messed up or I did something wrong. Overall, I had a rough time with the base for this figure.

The skin is so ugly. It is like transparent. The details for the body is ugly too.  Seams lines are all over the place especially the hair. The only reason to buy this figure is if you are a Oh Great! or Tenjou Tenge fan.

Not going to buy BOME figures again. At least Nono was decent. I try to stay away from BOME figures.

Maybe I’m expecting too much from the price tag of $15-$25. Overall, for that price this figure isn’t that bad. You can get some Sega Prize figures, and Kaiyodo revoltechs. But, when it comes down to affordable PVC figures, Kaiyodo’s selection of BOME figures would be the ones to keep an eye on.
