    FreeSpace 2

    April 30, 2009 // No Comments »

    Over the past couple days, actually a day and a half, I have picked up a game that I have never finished in my collection, FreeSpace 2. Ahhh, brings back good memories.  It is actually one of my very first Windows game that I played, along with StarCraft and Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2.
    I bought this game when I was in grade 7, so it was roughly 10 years ago. And, I have never finished the game. Back in the day I always get a virus before I even finished playing. This game makes my list of the longest game that I never finished.

    New Blog

    April 26, 2009 // 5 Comments »

    Hey!
    I have opened up a new blog. Well, or else you wouldn’t be here. For the past couple days I have been figuring how to use the features of my host. In addition, the most tiring part was uploading all my previous reviews into this blog.
    Now, I am going to rest for a LONG time. It feels so good to blink…

    GoodSmile Co. – Ryogi Shiki 1/7

    // 3 Comments »

    Right now I feel happy and sad at the same time. First off, I am happy that my preorder came from HobbyFan. Awhile back I thought it was canceled since they took the figure off their listing. Then I emailed them regarding the figure and it seems that they only received 30 of them. I thought it was canceled, but I was cool with it since I had a lot of preorders so I can at least save some money to pay for those. All of a sudden I was informed that it was shipped, and I was cool with that too.

    Now let’s get with the sad part of my day. I had an awkward dream yesterday night. I dreamt that I received my figure and there were 2 things that were unusual, 1) no packing material; just a exterior box and the figure box itself, and 2) I looked through the figure box and it was bootlegged. Okay, that was an awkward dream.  So my package came today, and I opened the box. There was actually no packing material inside to prevent damage. Okay…. I took out my figure and omg, this is the worst condition figure I have ever received.  It can’t be from the mail because there were no chip or paint parts inside the box.

    Kaiyodo – Bome: Kiddy Grade

    // No Comments »

    I saw this at Fantasy Box at FMP like couple months ago at 40% off of $45, which is about $30. I thought it was a steal, but I didn’t buy it. Kinda regret it afterward. Went back there recently and they still had. I think $30 for Kiddy Grade pack is a great deal since US retailers are selling it for $40uS?

    I preordered this figure before but canceled it later.  Then I had the urge to buy it because of Saku showing off his pictures! I found this on eBay and won the auction for $10.50US and then like $12 shipping. Sweet!

    GoodSmile Co. – Pastel Ink – Nendoroid

    // No Comments »

    Awwwww….this nendoroid is so cute. Here we have Pastel Ink from Moetan. Pastel Ink is a magical girl who suppose to teach this guy English. That is all I know since I did not watch the anime. I have always wanted this figure for quite awhile but couldn’t justify to buy it.  Nonetheless it is just too cute and I had to buy it in the end.

    Kaiyodo – Haruka Hasegawa – Revoltech

    // 2 Comments »

    I had to pre-order this because Hasegawa is so cool. Haruka Hasegawa is from Moyashimon: Tales of Agriculture. This may sound like a boring anime from the title, but do not be fooled. This is such a good anime! Hasegawa is a reseach student who dresses like a goth. C’mon, you don’t see that in any other anime.

    Kaiyodo – Yotsuba

    // No Comments »

    I was bored when doing this. I wanted to have like a cheesy comic with Yotsuba to show her interchangeable parts and joints. Yotsuba is the main character for the manga called Yotsuba. It is written by Kiyohiko Azuma who also did Azumanga Daioh. So, for sure it is another funny manga to enjoy reading. I have along Mechazawa and his little brother, Mechazawa Beta from Cromartie High School. Cromartie is a manga which have been adapted into an anime and a live action movie. If you are looking for a good time to go wtf or rofl, then read/watch Azumanga Daioh, Yotsuba and Cromartie High School.

    Konami – Figumate Vol. 1- The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya

    // No Comments »

    These were one of my earlier figures in my collection, and my first trading figures.   I got these  my first Anime North convention. I remembered that I had to buy something because I didn’t get much at the convention.
